About UNIVERSE Construction

Universe Construction remodels kitchens, bathrooms, and basements from a shop at 3896 W 1850 N in Lehi. Esre Vinu owns the company. Homeowners along the Wasatch Front hire the crew for full rooms and for smaller jobs, including tile and a master bath rebuilt after a flood.

The work is built around a written estimate, a project manager, and a walkthrough. Clients have described crews that showed up, kept the house reasonably clean, and answered questions while the job was open. When a basement finish missed the standard, Esre came to see it and had the work redone after it was already paid for. That review, from Kristen Knight, is on the reviews page in full.

We don't publish a founding year, a license number, or a warranty term on this site until those details are confirmed. What you can check today are the photos, the Google reviews, and a planning estimate you can run before anyone drives to the house.

Tough housing market: Some homeowners opt to remodel rather than buy

Daniel Woodruff, KSL.com · April 21, 2026

KSL.com reported that Esre and Caitlin Vinu, who own Lehi-based Universe Construction, said they meet many homeowners who want to improve what they have.

“What we're seeing is that a lot of people are adding on to their homes. They're doing home additions. They're doing (accessory dwelling units). They're finishing the basement. They're renovating the kitchen, the bathroom. Anything to kind of just stay put, just with interest rates being as high as they are.”

Esre Vinu, owner

“They just want to improve where they live. They want to stay in their neighborhoods.”
