Yalecrest is a residential neighborhood on the East Bench of Salt Lake City, also called Harvard-Yale. The National Register of Historic Places listed the Yalecrest Historic District on November 8, 2007. It is still Salt Lake City.

The National Register nomination describes the district as roughly bounded by Sunnyside Avenue (840 South) and 1300 South, and by 1300 East and 1800 East. Most of the houses are period-revival cottages and bungalows from the early twentieth century. A kitchen in one of those houses is often small and closed off. A basement is often already partly finished and low. We look before we treat two of them as the same bid, and we do not publish a Yalecrest address.
A National Register listing is not a Salt Lake City building permit, and it is not the same thing as a local historic district. The city has designated smaller local historic districts inside the neighborhood, including Normandie Circle, Harvard Park, and others. Exterior work on a house in one of those local districts can need the city's historic review. Ask Salt Lake City Historic Preservation about the specific address before anyone changes the outside of the house. Salt Lake City, not Lehi and not a separate Yalecrest department, issues the building permit.
