A bathroom remodel timeline, without a fake number of weeks

UNIVERSE Construction does not publish a single length of time for a bathroom remodel. The schedule is part of the written estimate after the crew sees the room, the materials, and what is in the walls. A week count copied from another city's blog would be an invented number, so this page does not have one.

The order of the work is still predictable. First is the free visit and the written estimate. Then the finishes are chosen: tile, vanity, valve, glass. Demo comes after the materials and the scope are agreed, not before. From there the room moves through the rough plumbing and any framing the new shower needs, the waterproofing and tile, then the vanity, glass, and trim.

What changes the schedule is the room, not a slogan. A tub that is staying is a different job from a tub that is leaving. A bathroom remodel in Provo with walls that are out of square takes longer to lay out than a newer bathroom remodel in Eagle Mountain. A bathroom remodel in Holladay in a mid-century rambler is a different sequence from a bathroom remodel in Alpine primary bath. A leak that has already reached the ceiling is a repair plus a remodel. We say which one it is at the estimate.

Planning rates, which are not a duration, are Good $171, Better $266, and Best $399 per square foot in the quote tool. An 80 square foot bath at the Good rate is $13,680. That buys a planning range, not a calendar.

Book a weekday visit from Lehi, 7 AM to 6 PM, at (385) 421-9864 or theuniversecontractor@gmail.com. A bathroom remodel in Lehi is the short drive. Saturday is not on the regular calendar.
