What a Utah County kitchen remodel costs in the quote tool

This page uses one source for numbers: the quote tool on this site. It does not add a county average, a national survey, or a price we have not published.

A kitchen remodel with UNIVERSE Construction in Utah, Salt Lake, Summit, and Wasatch Counties starts at $190 per square foot on the Good finish level in the quote tool, $309 on Better, and $475 on Best. A 180 square foot project at the Good rate is $34,200. Those figures are planning estimates from square footage times a finish level, and the written bid comes after a free in-home visit.

The quote tool does not change its rates by county. A kitchen remodel in Salt Lake City, kitchen remodel in Draper, kitchen remodel in Sandy, kitchen remodel in Holladay, or kitchen remodel in Park City uses the same planning rates as a kitchen remodel in Lehi.

Good, Better, and Best are finish levels in that tool, not a ranking of the company and not a menu of brands. A higher level is a higher material allowance. The tool multiplies the rate by the square footage you set. The default kitchen in the tool is 180 square feet, and the slider runs from 80 to 400.

A kitchen remodel in Lehi near the older grid and a newer kitchen remodel in Saratoga Springs or kitchen remodel in Eagle Mountain will not share a square footage. Use the slider for the room you have. An older kitchen remodel in American Fork is often smaller than the 180 square foot example. A kitchen remodel in Provo on the east bench may be larger. A kitchen remodel in Alpine and a kitchen remodel at Red Ledges are usually talked about at the higher finish level, still from the same tool.
