Kitchen remodels on the East Bench
An East Bench kitchen can be a small early kitchen in a foothill cottage or a later kitchen higher on the hill. Those are not the same room. The city is Salt Lake City.
We do not use one layout for the whole bench. If the house is in Yalecrest, also called Harvard-Yale, the historic-neighborhood notes are on that page. Houses east of Foothill Drive, from Sunnyside Avenue up to Parley's, are the area the East Bench Community Council describes, and they are still Salt Lake City permits.
Planning rates are $190, $309, and $475 per square foot. One hundred eighty square feet at Good is $34,200. An older kitchen on this bench is often smaller than that. We do not label gallery kitchens as East Bench work.
